Practicum preparatory session among the group of students of both universities held at the South East European University in Tetovo on 3-4 of October 2011
In the session held participated 10 students and 3 professors from the University “Alexandar Xuvani”- Education Faculty from Elbasan and 3 representatives from the organization Tjeter Vizion from Albanian side. Beside the guests, participation in the session took 13 students and 3 professors from SEE University- Faculty for Public Administration and Political Science and 4 representatives from Alka organization.
At the session a group of students the so-called “cultural ambassadors” has been formed. The session had as an objective to elaborate and define the main basics on which practicum work to be held in Elbasan as continued following activity will be focused on. At the session the students were presented with the responsibilities of the institutions that social services on both side of the border, as well with the practical work in which they them self are involved, especially in Elbasan, and doing that with mutual cooperation between University, Municipality and their institutions and NGO sector. Participants on the session based on exchanged experiences, defined the necessary content of the forthcoming practicum and made a draft plan for practical work of the students in Elbasan. As well it has been agreed, that the experience of the session will be shared with other students colleagues from both faculties on both side of the border.
