Replication of good experience of Alka rep and Mavrovo commune in the Tregan commune -district of Elbasan 13 and 14 of December 2011;
With an experience of already 5 years, Alka is known for its activities created with a view to mobilizing and motivating communities to undertake self-help initiatives. This activity has been a starting point for the replication of good experience of Alka in Tregan commune of Elbasan district. Tregan commune is very well known as a spring curative area, differently named Llixha. Alka center do have a long experience working with rural communities, include here Mavrovo – Rostuse Municipality. The methodology used from Alka (participatory learning and action) in approaching rural communities was very interesting to the representatives of Tregan commune, who see it as a very useful and effective one in the future action of their commune.
Alka staffs meet representatives of the communes and together they shared their existing resources in order to improve the situation of social service providing to the living community. Also both communes shared information on the potential resources they have, common points, needs of their communities and were looking and discussing for future joint initiatives. More than 25 representatives of the 12 villages of commune participated in the meeting and shared experience among each other.
