Conducted presentation and promoted handbook in Skopje
On the 5th of December 2007 (Wednesday) at Aleksandar Palace hotel in Skopje, beginning at 11a.m. Association for Sustainable Development and Cooperation ALKA conducted the presentation with subject “ALKA’s experiences – possibilities and perspectives”. The presentation was the final one, after four that took place in different regions in Macedonia. Presentation promoted the results of ALKA’s work done so far, and also presentation of the methodology used during implementation of the program activities. Also, a special accent was put on the possibilities and perspectives for future activities that the association identified in its work until nowadays. At the end of the presentation the Handbook that ALKA team published last months containing the complete methodology was promoted and given ownership in order to be used by organizations and institutions working in same or similar area.
HANDBOOK of the best methodological practices from the participative approach of Alka for sustainable development On the event that took place in Skopje, large number of mayors of Macedonian municipalities, representatives of the institutions we cooperate with (Ministry of Local Self-governance, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment), foreign donors present in the country and many NGO’s (OSCE, UNHCR, UNDP, USAID, GTZ-Office for supporting bilateral cooperation between Republic of Macedonia and Federal Republic of Germany, CIRA, MCIC, BCC, AMPEP, MATA, FORUM DETRA- consultancy) and many others.
The event had media coverage by certain TV stations from Skopje.
Promotion of the Handbook had public promotion in front of wide Macedonian public on 06.12.2007 in the morning edition of Zurnal on national broadcaster TV Sitel.
